Female arousal question?

I recently heard that for women stiff/hard nipples are the equivalent of a female erection and that if, for example, a woman were being chatted up at a bar and her nipples became erect it is a sign of sexual attraction. Is this true?
If this isn’t the case can anyone enlighten me on the purpose of stiff nipples? Is there an evolutionary cause for the phenomenon?
Nipples are in place to use for feeding babies and getting the breast out of warm clothing, the temperature change causes them to stiffen in preparation for the child to suckle.
So it is the chill which causes this natural reaction.

If you can actually see a woman’s nipples through her clothes in a public place like a bar, that’s probably a woman you want to be careful about getting involved with.

stiff nipples. id say prolly cold or irritated. nipples are just your skin (epidermis) when you get cold or your skin becomes irritated it shrinks becoming tighter, so when you nipples get hard, its ur skin contracting, trying to trap the warmth inside and keep the cold out.References : me, some fancy book learning
