Is there any relation to attraction to signs based on male/female sign designation?

Is there any correlation of attraction based on one sign being a male sign, say Aries; and the other sign being a female sign, say, Scorpio?
Yes… definitely! There is a wonderful book called "Love Signs" by Linda Goodman, and it’s all about male and female zodiac sign combinations and compatibility. It’s a very enlightening, classic book that was written about 30 years ago, and today it is as popular as ever. I first discovered it as a teenager, and my friends and I had a total blast with it in junior high when approaching our first "love" encounters… I highly recommend it for your answer to this question.

First sight attraction is usually purely physical. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Getting to know someone and admiring them for certain traits, that could very well be sign related. You are drawn to someone because of the personality, etc that they exhibit.
If one were to seperate positive and negative signs alone, I can’t see where there would be attraction based on this alone.References :
