Ladies: Sex objects?
I think the media has had an influence on men’s perception of women being seen as sex objects. My point is… men often think women want ‘sex’ everytime they wear scantily clothes… or act sexual in front of men. I also have a brother who makes sweeping generalizations about female doctors getting attention and wanting sex. I know that’s a stereotype but I had to ask the women here….
Are what we see on movies a ‘male fantasy’ of women dressing in sexy scantily clothes something that offends the female public, in general? The common misconception is women are seen as sex objects and want sex soooo bad or are just seen as really really horny.
Now ladies: Is this how you act when you want to have sex or showing signs of physical attraction? (Think of women in 40 yr Old Virgin, American Pie, Bad Boys II, National Lampoon, etc)

Women aren’t exactly like this in real life. I’ve never met a girl who acted like the girls you see in these movies. If a woman wears suggestive clothing, she is fishing for compliments, it boosts her ego, this doesnt mean she wants to have sex with every guy she sees. some girls make a big deal if someone looks at her boobs, she probably secretly likes it, it gives her control over guys, but it doesnt mean she wants to have sex.

Almost everything you see on TV, movies and adverts are the male perception of "sexy".
Some unintelligent women, believe that if they dress like slappers men will fall over themselves to get at them. Which they do, but then drop them again soon afterwards.
If I am after a man I will dress nicely, make sure my hair and face are glowing and healthy – and I prefer that he is wondering what I have on under my clothes rather than to see it all straight off.

We men do not think women want sex (from us) all the time. However, when we see women dressed very provocatively, scantily-clad, we think that they are looking for attention, approval, and perhaps, as teasers, romantic/sexual overtures from men. Sometimes they compete with other women for who can get the most attention.
I cannot answer how they act when they want sex. I am so used to them teasing men, I really would not know unless a woman asked me directly. But I have been in situations where they were forced to admit their desires, but that comes after a long, B.S.-ridden relationship.References :
