Anger Management-Four Ways to Help Control Your Anger
We are a complex mix of feelings, of which anger is a part. Keeping our temper in check is a key to enjoying happy relationships.Should you find that you get angry often, then it should be no surprise that your friends may come to believe that you may have problems with your temper. It’s not difficult to misunderstand someone, or overreact after a bad day and take it out on everyone else.
Getting a little angry is a normal thing, so it’s no surprise we feel like that sometimes.But, if we try and control it by keeping it inside, it’s likely that the pressure will keep increasing and then – bang, one small incident is one too many and we just blow. That’s when those around us notice our problem, but we don’t see it at all.

Stop and take a look at yourself when you think you are about to lose it Time has come to stop and look at yourself to determine whether or not you have anger issues. You must get to the cause of things here, so be brutally honest with yourself .Look at yourself from the viewpoint of someone looking at you and ask am I being reasonable, or am I going over the top and overreacting”
The fact that you are asking yourself about your temper shows that you think that you might perhaps have a problem with your temper. Are you prone to urges of breaking anything you can find when you feel like “letting rip”? If your answer is “yes”, prepare to lose your relationship, unless you’re prepared to take steps to try and resolve this problem. Any psychologist running temper control classes will tell you that admitting to yourself that you have a problem with your temper, is the first step towards finding a cure.
We all have a temper, and with it comes a choice – you can choose to pause and take a deep breath, or you can store it up inside until you feel you’ve been pushed too far, at which time you go off like a volcano. Next time you feel those destructive desires beginning, try and riegn yourself in, stop. Breath deeply and evenly for about 10 seconds and then see if you feel calmer – think of a fish, opening it’s mouth slowly, but regularly – that’s how your breathing should be. For fairly insignificant things this method should work, but what about the larger and more annoying things?.

Ponder (whilst chilling) – what have you ever achieved when you lost it?. This is logic, use it. You’re only damaging yourself and the way others see you. What do you think of others when you see them out of control? They’re acting stupid right Do you want people to watch you and draw that conclusion too? This method gets results because you begin to look at yourself from the outside. So, stop, think, set aside your temper and use some logic. This method works, but you have to actually make an effort!
So, next time you feel like taking a gun to your bank, make the decision to stop and count to ten. Try turning the situation into something funny and attempt to and laugh it off – you will when you see how annoying you are being!.
