If you’re thinking that you can just buy what people liked last year, then think again. As fashions change, you need to make sure your gifts are contemporary or ageless. Here are some ideas.
Classy Jewelry. Over the past year, very simple yet elegant jewelry has been the designs of choice for celebrities and fashion icons. Silver is more popular than gold at the moment and if you can afford platinum then you’ll receive double brownie points. Make sure you don’t buy cheap jewelry however, as women can tell in seconds. It’s advisable to get an idea of the kind of jewelry your woman likes before you buy, but you can always take stuff back (not earrings) if it’s not right.
Spa Days.You cannot go wrong with a spa day for your lady, and maybe even for her lady friends also? If you know the woman you are buying for reasonably well then you may be able to select a treatment you think they will like. If you don’t know the recipient that well however, or are just scared of getting it wrong, you can always opt for vouchers.
Body Moisturiser. You probably want to avoid trying to get face moisturizer for a lady as they can be very particular about what they want, especially with all the new anti-wrinkle, anti-age, anti-expression type creams on the market these days. Luckily buying body moisturiser as beauty gifts is not such a task yet as they are not as specialized as facial products. You still need to know if the person you’re buying for as dry or oily skin, but as long as you buy high quality products you cannot go wrong.
