Am I reading this girls body language right? does this girl like me?
So, a few weeks ago I saw this nice looking girl. Usually I am very shy when it comes to asking a girl out, but I had the courage in this case because I was under the impression she liked me. Whenever I saw her, I could see her staring at me from the corner of my eye, and when I turned to look at her, she would quickly look away, smile, and not look back at me. In the days after we introduced ourselves, her face seemed to light up whenever she saw me. When I asked her out to lunch she not only said yes, but voluntarily gave me her phone number as well. During our first lunch she seemed to have all the body language indicating she liked me (nervously twirling her hair when she talked, laughing at even the somewhat funny things I said, etc.) After I walked her back to her room, she said she would like to do it again. So I asked her out to lunch again, but while we were talking she said she was already in a relationship. SO, were all those signals just my imagination or does she like me?

She likes you a lot but also feels bad for cheating on her boyfriend. She will come around. I would go up to her and just say I like you a lot from our lunch and I don’t want to get in the middle of your relationship but I would really like to see you again. It worked for me and trust me I was so convincing she broke up with her boyfriend. Hopefully it will work for you. You don’t have to say exactly what I said….that is just an example of how to bring it up.

One of two things MUST be true..
1. she really likes you
2. she’s messing with you
(or both)
Its a tricky situation and the signal you mention seem to be saying all you think thay are, but could it be possible that it was out of being nervous? Twiddling with hair and tight laughing could mean the same thing – maybe she is in the relationship but doesn’t want to be and is a little nervous, but you may put her at ease.
Don’t be pushy, but keep talking to her in a friendly way and you’ll find out soon enough. Don’t ask her directly yet or see the guy – especialy if you don’t know him.
