How do I know when a guy is flirting?

I have always been SO bad at reading guys. I’m kind of insecure and all so I never like to assume someone is into me or anything. I’ve ended up unintentionally leading on guys several times before and it makes me feel awful. So, what are some pretty solid flirting signs so I know next time a guy is trying to be more than just friendly?

Ok, so there’s two different ways, depending on their personality. One, is be mean to you in front of others, jokingly or not, and then being really nice and sweet to you when you guys are alone-ish. Then there’s the puppy-like guys, the one that kinda follow you around, not in a stalker-ish way, but yeah… :D They’d like, smile and look at you a lot. Aand they kinda just show up randomly. And they’ll kinda like, find ways to subtly touch you, like not pervy, but like, just brush up against you, or be really close to you.

There’s also the perv guys that just openly flirt and talk about your ass/boobs/body, and possibly talking about fucking you… They throw things down your shirt, then offer to help get it out, they slap your ass, whatever. They’re just perv. Don’t even bother with those, they’re probably hot, but a jack-ass, or an ugly wannabe… :D

    when they stare at you…a lot..try to touch you in anyway possible (not pervertedly just like touch your shoulder or anything)…if they are really nice to you, treat you differently than everyone else…References :

    He could do things like, touch you for example. Small things like trying to pic lint of your clothes or hold your shoulder are small signs that he’s interested.

    Lots of eye contact, dunno how to explain it, but a kind of look that gives off a "I like you" vibe. If he asks questions maybe he’s trying to get to know you.

    Overall, don’t let every first encounter lead you to believe he WANTS you. You should do some easy flirting back, see if he responds, and work from there. If it works, then keep going back and forth. If not, then just be nice with him and flirt with someone else ;-) References :
