   every guy is different. some guys tend to say complimenting is just another thing to do to tell them they look pretty. but just try to stay in the clear about it. i do know, when they are trying to joke around with you or pick on you they are flirting.References :

   many men do different things depending on the situation, from my experiences i try to be funny stating the obvious since thats a way of showing sincerity most of the time you can tell im flirting by the way i smile and how i make the person feel important.References :

   when guys are flirting with me they tend to pick on me.. like for instance my current boyfriend when he was in the stages of liking me he would poke me because i am very ticklish, he would pick on me like on my bad driving, or something like that, he would say stupid stuff to make me laugh, he would say things like nice bum where you from, or hey whats cookin good lookin. but the poking thing i have found consistent in all guys that flirt with me.. well the ones that know me well enough to know that i am ticklish.References :
