It’s usually recommended to make actual room for an unhindered relationship to show up in your life. To put it another way, clean out a closet, and your baggage. Make your living space comfortable for coupling. And while that’s important, it’s of even greater importance to create space emotionally.

Think of releasing as freeing yourself from the past. Imagine releasing your emotions and letting go of limiting habits of thought about relationships as forgiving. You are creating energetic space for the fresh, new, healthy, and whole relationship to show up into.

I can already tell a lot of you right now voicing in your head, “Yeah but, I do not think he truly needs to be let off the hook for his actions. He was in the wrong and that is the answer!” Watch the energy you are let be cut off from your energy. This is a slow leak in your energy capacity and after a while, it will deplete your energy, if it has not already. Also, that slow energy leak holds you from having all of your power focused in this present moment. When you don’t retain your power in the moment, do you think you’re going to be an amazing, meaningful creator? It causes it to be that much more difficult.

Take your full energy back by releasing and evaporating your history, of judgments that weigh you down, clutter up your energy field and block you from going forward to having the life you have always wanted to live. I find that the topic of forgiveness can be a heavy one. I’m not speaking of the kind of forgiving where we’re excusing another person’s poor behavior. It’s essential to have healthy boundaries in place for you. To know how you feel concerning who you want in your life and who you do not. How you want to invest your time and with whom. It is essential to realize what works for you and what does not. The method in which you spend your time and energy and with what people, what feels good and what feels like an energy drain.

Forgiveness is not a moral position. It is not about the rightness or wrongness of anything. Forgiveness is releasing those pains, slights, abuses, losses, grudges, and making space for what you DO desire to show up. Morality has nothing to do with forgiveness.

Do your utmost at evaporating the past by letting go and forgiving yourself and others. This will give you a pure canvas on which to manifest your ideal love relationship.

Maybe you’ve been told about the ‘Bucket of Crab’ mentality. I mean the kind of mindset that says “if I cannot have it, neither can you.” It’s a form of negating someone else’s success by pulling them down to their inadequacy. This often is expressed by a colleague or family member who does not approve of or discourages you from reaching for a higher achievement or going beyond that which is usually the norm for the culture. We’ve all been there.

It’s similar in a tribe mindset. The tribe is meant to help each other and keep the culture in a sustained state of relative safety. Every member has an explicitly delineated and extremely valuable role and function. If you wanted to go beyond (as is our nature as human beings) you actually risked the safety of the tribe. You’re taught: “I cannot expand beyond what my tribe teaches, otherwise I’d be cast out and suffer certain death”. You would be exiled and not given food or water and no other tribe for hundreds of miles.

But you are wired to create. Your very nature is to go beyond, express, desire, and manifest. Then reach for another fun project or dream to fulfill. I read that prior to reaching 5 years old, they have heard the word ‘No’ over 60,000 times! It seems that our nature and our culture are conflicted with each other.

It is no wonder conflicting beliefs, critical mental monologue and fear of success haunt us most of the time. It’s been battered into our programming. The psychological phenomena is known as cognitive dissonance. It’s like static in your mind when you have two opposing ideas at the same time. This dissonance gets uncomfortable and desires a solution. It gets resolved in one of two methods. Either by falling back on old, known beliefs, or by letting go of the old to strive for a better place mentally. 1. The fear of failure is very human

Maybe in the past a relationship or two haven’t worked out. Welcome to the club. That happens to each one of us. It does not mean any qualities concerning who you are. It’s just something that happened. You would give any number of your friends the ability to go on after a relationship that didn’t work out? Certainly you would. When you consider that failure is simply making an area for a different experience. Recall that dating (and life) is a game. Play it and be present. Go into it with the first priority to have fun and learn something different, not to find out how to validate yourself or prove how broken you are. Try on innocence and play all out. Just try it and see how different it is. No one is intending to take something from you that you are not going to give. Make sure you’re on the lookout for clues that mean your love relationship is coming.

Or, search for evidence that your current relationship is improving, if you’re currently in one.

Due to the RAS (reticular activation system) in our brains, we’re hard-wired to seek and attain that which we’re searching for. It’s the same mechanism in the brain that finds dents in cars all over the place, after you’ve gotten a dent in your car.

Set your expectations to see evidence of functional couples. If simply the idea of searching for happy couples causes you to go into a tailspin, you most certainly have some resistance that has to be softened. Before you can attract solid Law of Attraction Relationships, you have to first get rid of that resisting energy.

A client of mine, when I asked she look for evidence around her of happy couples, she quickly fell into a slump due to the fact that she was not one of them. We needed to start easing the resistant energy she had to watching other people happy when she wasn’t.

The positive side is that if you see it in your life, then it has to be in your vibrational capability. What you are seeing is always a match to what vibrations and beliefs you are transmitting. That’s the good news, that Relationship Attraction is possible for you with the Law of Attraction.

Valentine’s Day brings out the lovey dovey side in many of us. At the very least, it’s a day that we would LIKE to have the romantic drawn out of its shell.
